Virtual Poet is a program that has been designed to provide us with rhymes to our words. We can use this program to compose poems, nursery rhymes, songs, jokes, word games, etc. This program includes an internal database with 63175 words. We are allowed to increase this database by adding as many words as we want. To do that, we just browse for the file with the list of words.
Virtual Poet is very easy to manage; we just enter the desired word, select one of the two searching algorithms available, and one of the searching speeds (high or low). This program has a smart interface and it works fast at any possible combination of algorithms and speeds. Depending on the combination used, we can find that the presented lists of matching rhymes differ from each other considerably; so it is recommended to use several combinations to find the right word (if there is one). It is also possible to export the whole list of rhymes (or any part of it) to a text file. We can test the evaluation version of this program free of charge for a 15-day period. This program runs under Windows XP, 2000, ME, 98, and 95 operating systems. |
